Tsavorite garnet is a green gems, a vriety of grossular garnet. Tsavorite is valued due to its deep itense color resembling to emerald stone. Tsavorite main and primary source is in East Africa, Tanzania and Kenya. Tsavorite was first discovered in 1960s by 

Scottish geologist Campbell Bridges. Tsavorite green hue is like that of emerald. Gem grade tsavorite is rare stone. Tsavorite price is often close to emerald stone.
