Since 1900s, the mining of the Kashmir Sapphire has been stopped and mostly blue kashmir sapphires found in the market are basically result of circulations which come from the limited period of 100 years ago.

Kashmir sapphire is famous for qualities such as their silk like rutile needles. These needles cause the velvet glow of sapphire color. This is only related to Kashmir Sapphires.
